Members of IATSE 891 envisioned a non-profit solution that would prioritize the needs of their community, creating a benefits system rooted in compassion and fairness. A Trust Is Born
After months of collaboration and planning, the trust was established with an initial investment of 1 million CAD from IATSE 891. Volunteer trustees took on the responsibility of managing funds, ensuring every dollar directly benefited members. In its first year, the trust supported 1,005 active members and 5 retirees, laying a foundation for a community-centered approach to benefits.
