Benefits of Film is bringing back its “So You Want to Be a Trustee” Seminar on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront in Vancouver.

Previosuly held in September 2025, the seminar welcomed members across two sessions for an inside look at how the Trust works, what Trustee service involves, and the responsibilities that come with the role. Two attendees from the inaugural seminar later joined the Board as Trustees.

While there are no Trustee elections this year, Benefits of Film is continuing the seminar as an annual opportunity for members to learn more about the Trust, ask questions and explore whether Trustee service may be something they are interested in pursuing in the future.
