Effective November 1, 2025, the Benefits of Film 60+ Plan will include emergency travel coverage, offering the same protection provided to active plan members.

This expanded coverage includes both Global Medical Assistance (GMA) and Out of Country Emergency Medical Coverage, ensuring members are protected during travel within Canada or abroad. The benefit applies automatically, covering trips up to 30 days in duration and remains valid until members reach age 75. Eligible dependents are also covered.

Members can access their personalized travel card and Out of Country Confirmation Letter through My Canada Life at Work. In case of emergency, Canada Life assistance is available 24/7, toll-free from Canada or the U.S. at 1-855-222-4051, or collect from other countries at 1-204-946-2577.
