The Trustees of the Benefits of Film Benefit Plan met last week and due to the current situation with the ongoing strikes a motion was passed to reduce the monthly hour bank withdrawal from 140 hours to 70 hours for all members in active hour bank coverage.

This will be in effective for benefit coverage from October 1, 2023, to January 1, 2024. For those members with hours remaining in their hour bank this will double the number of months of coverage they are eligible for. If you are self paying this will reduce the cost of top up by 50% for the same period.
